Students Selected as Semi-Finalists 
forThe New Jersey Scholars Program
 
The Administration of Saint Joseph High School is proud to announce that junior students Sarah Bariglio and Nathan Otto have been selected as semifinalists for this summer’s New Jersey Scholars Program, Human Rights: Past, Present, Future and are invited to The Lawrenceville School campus on Saturday, March 27th for a tour and interview. Congratulations to senior Anthony DeRosa who has been selected to play in the North/South All-Star Football Classic on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Kean University at 7:00 pm”

“Congratulations to senior Kyle Lafferty who has been selected to play in this years Adam Taliaferro Foundation All-Star Football Classic which is being played on Saturday, June 26, 2010”


 

 

 

The Diocese of Camden has selected Saint Joseph High School to represent the seven high schools in the Diocese to welcome Governor Christie into office.  Saint Joseph students Gabrielle Raso, Aziz Ramos and Noel Vadino will travel to the Statehouse on Thursday, February 4, 2010 to present a Diocesan welcome letter to the Governor.


 

 

Students in Mrs. Skoczylas Religion classes learned how to make quilts as a donation to the victims of Haiti. 


 

Saint Joseph Alumni Association hosts annual Valentines Day Contest. This years winners are Ryan Teague and Blyss Bowman.


 

“Congratulations to Vincent Calderone and Alexandra Otto on winning the “Voice of Democracy” essay contest sponsored by the Hammonton VFW.  Vincent and Alexandra were presented with a certificate and check for the winning essays”

Congratulations to the following Saint Joseph High School seniors who have been selected as Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars for the 2010-11 academic year:  Alexandra Aloia, Laura VillaMil, Nicole DelGiorno, Sarah Nilson, Molly Spadaro and Diana Seifritz.  This award recognizes the students’ secondary school academic achievement.


  • Congratulations to Juanita Caldwell who came in 5th place in the 400 m race at the Colgate Women’s Games on Saturday, January 30th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.  Juanita has been participating with the Colgate Women Track Meet for the past 6 weeks and, out of hundreds of girls, Juanita was one of the top 6 finalists who earned the honor to run Saturday.
  • Congratulations to senior Kyle Lafferty on being selected as a Scholar-Athlete by the South Jersey Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame 
  • Congratulations to senior Briana DeLash on being selected as an understudy for Snow White in the Princess Parade, for a part in the High School Musical Show Parade and for the Block Party Bash Celebration all held in Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  Over 210 people auditioned for these parts and Briana was 1 of 3 who were chosen.
